Vanessa Bryant has revealed a new tattoo featuring the names of her late husband, Kobe Bryant, and their four daughters, Natalia, the late Gianna, Bianka and Capri.

On Tuesday 13 October, Ms Bryant posted a photograph on Instagram of herself in the Santa Monica tattoo parlour of Mister Cartoon, an American tattoo and graffiti artist.

An hour later, the 38-year-old posted a close-up picture of her foot, showing the names “Kobe, Vanessa, Natalia, Gianna, Bianka and Capri” tattooed along the side in cursive handwriting.

“#MiFamilia Thank you @misterctoons,” she wrote in the caption.

“#KobeVanessaNataliaGiannaBiankaCapri Together Forever #Family.”

In January this year, Kobe and Gianna were killed in a helicopter crash in California, alongside seven others. Kobe was 41 and Gianna was 13.

The late professional basketball player played for the Los Angeles Lakers throughout his 20-year career, from 1996 to 2016.

On Sunday evening, after the Lakers won the NBA championship, Ms Bryant congratulated the team with a heartfelt post shared on her Instagram Story.

Sharing a photograph of her late husband with Rob Pelinka, general manager for the team, Ms Bryant wrote: “Congratulations Uncle P! Congratulations @lakers Kobe was right, RP! 'Stay the course-blockout the noise.'"

“Wish Kobe and Gigi were here to see this," she wrote, alongside a heart emoji.

On the same day of the Lakers’ NBA championship win, Ms Bryant paid tribute to Kobe and Gianna with an Instagram post in honour of National Father/Daughter Day in the US, sharing a picture of the pair at a basketball game from June 2009.

Natalia, Ms Bryant’s eldest daughter with her late husband, is 17 years old.

Their third eldest child, Bianka, is three, and their youngest, Capri, is one.
