After last month's problems with the MS Aurora, P&O Cruises is steaming ahead with completion of the largest cruise liner yet built for the UK market.

The MS Arcadia, which will accommodate 1,958 passengers, is due to sail from Southampton on 14 April. She will spend six months in the Mediterranean and six months in the Caribbean. The liner has a pool with retractable roof, 3,000 pieces of modern art and a Gary Rhodes restaurant.
