Amy Schumer and Anna Wintour swap jobs as comedian lands Vogue cover
Only one of them excels in the other's position
Anything Amy can do Anna can do better - at least that seems to be the case in a short video featuring the two women at the top of their respective fields, comedian Amy Schumer and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
In the video, written by Schumer as a companion to her July appearance on the fashion magazine, Wintour shows her lighter side by trading places with the feminist comic.
Schumer learns quickly that Wintour’s job is not as simple as arbitrarily deciding what is in one day and out the other. Wintour, however, eased into Schumer’s job, taking the stage at the famed Comedy Cellar in New York City’s West Village district.
The audience loves her.
London-born Anna Wintour became Vogue’s editor-in-chief in 1988. In her decades-long career, she has become regarded as one of the most important figures in the fashion industry.
And should she decided to hit up the open mic circuit, she could ultimately become the most important figure in comedy.
