A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl in broad daylight.
The teenager was attacked in a secluded area in Avery Hill Park in the south London borough of Greenwich.
Scotland Yard said the assault happened between 9am and 1pm on Monday September 4.
The arrested man was being held at a police station in south London.
The alleged victim is being supported by specialist officers.
