Angel Di Maria insists Paris Saint-Germain “ate them up from minute one” in their comprehensive Champions League victory over RB Leipzig.

The Argentine put in a man of the match display, scoring once and assisting twice in the 3-0 victory to clinch a place in the final.

Marquinhos and Juan Bernat also scored against the Germans as the Ligue 1 champions finally broke through in Europe.

And Di Maria maintains their fierce approach from the outset was too much for Julian Nagelsmann’s side.

“We ate them up from minute one, it’s going to be tough to sleep between now and the final,” said Di Maria.

“We worked hard all game and we showed we deserve to be here.

“It doesn’t matter who we face: either Bayern or Lyon, we’ll give our all.”
