Transfer news: Arsenal bid for Wilfried Zaha, Man Utd see Bruno Fernandes offer rejected, Liverpool in talks to sell defender
Arsenal have risked infuriating Crystal Palace with a £40m offer for Wilfried Zaha, falling well below the forward’s valuation at Selhurst Park, as the Gunners look for their first signing of the summer.
Manchester United are attempting to land their third signing of the window, but a £31m offer for Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been rejected. However, the club are closing in on the signing of £25m-rated Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff. Liverpool meanwhile have been contacted by AC Milan over selling Dejan Lovren this summer.
Barcelona are ready to announce the signing of Antoine Griezmann from rivals Atletico Madrid after his release clause was lowered to £107m on Monday, while the Catalans are also in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a move for their former forward Neymar.
