Bassong likely to shake off knee problem for United showdown
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp remains hopeful defender Sébastien Bassong will be fit for tomorrow evening's visit by Manchester United to White Hart Lane, despite the centre-back missing Cameroon's 2-1 win over Gabon on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old picked up a slight knee injury against the same opponents last weekend.
Fellow centre-back Ledley King is also confident of featuring after recovering from a groin injury he suffered against Birmingham before the international break. Jonathan Woodgate and Michael Dawson remain sidelined.
