Transfer deadline day summer 2019: The deals done so far

Everton are closing in on a double transfer ahead of a busy end to the window with Juventus forward Moise Kean arriving for a medical in the next 24 hours.

The expected £30 million deal for the 19-year-old will likely follow the capture of Mainz midfielder Jean Philippe Gbamin.

PA Sport understands Silva will add the pair before next week’s deadline, with Gbamin costing around £25 million.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast international will replace Idrissa Gana Gueye, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in a deal thought to be worth £29 million.

Kean has brought excitement with the Juventus star likely to strike up an promising connection with Richarlison.

Kean could free up the Brazilian and allow him to drift as well as finally filling the void left by Romelu Lukaku after his move to Man United two years ago.

Since then Wayne Rooney (10) and Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson (both 13) have been the Toffees’ top Premier League scorers in the last couple of seasons.

Kean has scored 11 times in 35 Serie A appearances, the majority of which have been as a substitute, for Juventus and on loan at Verona but is viewed as a player with huge potential by manager Marco Silva and director of football Marcel Brands.
