Transfer news: Arsenal and Manchester United delay making moves for Angel Di Maria
No offers yet for Argentine winger according to Real Madrid president
Florentino Perez, the Real Madrid president, claims the club have not yet received any offers for Angel Di Maria despite widespread interest in the player.
The Argentine winger has reportedly been targeted by a number of big European clubs who are keeping tabs on his uncertain future at Real Madrid.
Arsenal, Manchester United as well as Monaco have shown an interest in Di Maria but Perez insists his club are yet to receive a formal bid.
"We have not received any offer for the sale of Angel Di Maria. This is the truth of this subject," he said.
"These are things that do not happen but are written about.
"Nobody has told me anything about this situation, I have asked the club if someone has approached us and nobody knows anything."
Arsenal reportedly came close to acquiring the Argentine in the summer although with a host of players in his position already, it seems an unlikely move now.
David Moyes however is certainly more in the market for that type of player and hopes the prospect of regular first team football will lure the 25-year-old away from Madrid.
Di Maria has also fuelled talk of his departure from Real Madrid by last week publicly declaring his admiration for Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
