Monaco are leading the race to sign Blackpool winger Tom Ince according to reports.

The England U21 international was reportedly driven by his father, Blackpool boss Paul Ince, to a meeting with representatives of the French club in London.

The Blackpool boss cancelled a press conference ahead of his side's match with Barnsley this Saturday.

Instead he reportedly went with his son to meet Monaco representatives, who can speak to the player whose contract expires in six months.

Swansea and Tottenham are both thought to be interested in signing Ince as well as foreign sides Ajax and Inter Milan.

Blackpool will be hoping Ince decides on a move to an English club as they could be left with as little as £155,000 in compensation if he goes abroad.
