England is set to be awarded the 2021 European Women’s Championship after the FA were the only prospective host to submit a bid.

Austria and Hungary were understood to be interested in hosting the tournament and commissioned feasibility studies but ultimately opted against entering the running

While the FA still has a number of strict guidelines to meet in order to be confirmed as hosts, there is a meeting scheduled for Uefa’s executive committee on December 3rd when a decision is expected to be made.

Assuming that the English bid is confirmed as hosts of the tournament for the second time, the first being held in 2005, the final would be at Wembley.

Other stadia slated to host fixtures include: Brighton's Amex Stadium, Brentford's Community Stadium, MK Dons' Stadium MK, Manchester City's Academy Stadium, Notts County's Meadow Lane, Peterborough's Abax Stadium, Rotherham's New York Stadium and Sheffield United's Bramall Lane.
