England have the biggest World Cup win ever in their sights after they scored five in the first half against Panama on Sunday.
Harry Kane scored twice from the penalty spot after John Stones headed in two of his own – his first goals for the Three Lions.
Jesse Lingard’s stunning finish to make it 3-0 was the pick of the goals as England already have their best ever World Cup win, surpassing the 3-0 win over Denmark in 2006.

The biggest ever winning margin in a World Cup is nine goals, which has been achieved three times in history, with Hungary beating South Korea 9-0 in 1954, Yugoslavia beating Zaire 9-0 in 1974 and Hungary (again) winning 10-1 against El Salvador in 1982.
The biggest since the turn of the century is Germany’s 8-0 win over Saudi Arabia in 2002 in Japan and South Korea while their 7-1 demolition of Brazil in 2014 is the biggest of this decade.
