Cycling: Sutton triumphs in bunch sprint
The Australian Chris Sutton won stage two of the Tour of Spain yesterday in a bunch sprint, while Italy's Daniele Bennati took over as the race leader. Spain's Vicente Reynes finished second behind Team Sky's Sutton on the 174-km stage from La Nucia, with Germany's Marcel Kittel third.
Sixth place in the sprint for Bennati allowed the Italian to replace his Leopard Trek team- mate Jakob Fuglsang as race leader. Britain's Mark Cavendish – winner of the Green Jersey for best sprinter at this year's Tour de France – finished over a minute back. The Tour of Spain finishes on 11 September in Madrid.
