PDC World Championship day 4 preview: What time does it start, what channel is it on and what's the order of play?

A look ahead to the fourth day of the 2016 PDC William Hill World Darts Championship

Five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld provides the main attraction on day four of the 2016 PDC William Hill World Darts Championship.

The Dutchman, who topped off four BDO World Championships titles with the PDC’s equivalent crown in 2007, is ranked as the tournament’s 16th seed and could provide stiff third round competition for favourite Michael van Gerwen.

First, however, ‘Barney’ must negotiate today’s encounter against compatriot Dirk van Duijvenbode, whose notoriously exuberant walk-on should delight the Alexandra Palace crowd.

Stephen Bunting, who was narrowly defeated by Van Barneveld in last year’s quarter-finals, also plays in the evening session, beginning his second PDC World Championship campaign with a tie against Jyhan Artut.

Mervyn King takes the primetime slot and will face the victor of a preliminary round tie between Aleksandr Oreshkin and Paul Lim, who famously hit the BDO World Championship's first nine-dart finish in 1990.

In the afternoon session, Andy Hamilton should have too much for tournament debutant Joe Murnan, while Mensur Suljovic will be hoping to build on the major strides forward he has made this year by seeing off Jermain Wattimena.

Jamie Caven, another victim of Van Barneveld last year, will take on either Michael Rasztovits or Rob Szabo.
