The Ryder Cup in numbers

Team Europe and Team USA have announced their pairings for Saturday's fourballs session after day one of the Ryder Cup ended with the hosts leading by 5-3.

Kicking off proceedings at 7.10am, Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia go head to head with Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau.

They're followed by Paul Casey and Tyrell Hatton who lost on Friday morning but will get a chance to right that wrong when they take on Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler.

Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood have been kept together for Saturday's action and will play a rematch again against Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed in the third match of the morning session, the same pairing that they came from behind to defeat 2&1 on a day when they won two points out of two.

Ian Poulter and Jon Rahm have been partnered together for the final match-up, where they will face Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas. Spieth and Thomas endured a miserable afternoon, losing 5&4 to Molinari and Fleetwood, but will look to bounce back on Saturday and bring the US back from a two-point deficit.

Saturday fourballs:

Match 1: McIlroy/Garcia vs. Koepka/Finau

Match 2: Casey/Hatton vs. Johnson/Fowler

Match 3: Molinari/Fleetwood vs. Woods/Reed

Match 4: Poulter/Rahm vs. Thomas/Spieth
