With the 2015 British Open well underway, we've compiled some of the best golf clips from YouTube to celebrate the 155-year-old tournament. Let's hope the tournament can deliver another moment of golfing history as seen below...

1) Perhaps one of the most famous golf shots of the past 15 years, Tiger Woods’ putt on the 16th hole at the 2005 Masters has been forever immortalised largely. What’s more, the shot mattered as Woods went on to claim his fourth Masters title:

4) In the 1987 Masters championship, Larry Mize was drawn in a sudden-death playoff with Seve Ballesteros and Greg Norman. Mize’s chip on the 11th is one of the greatest in golf history and secured him his first and only major title:

5) The late Seve Ballesteros was one of the sport’s leading figures from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. Watch the golfing legend secure his famous victory at the 1984 British Open:

6) Jack Nicklaus proved his status as the greatest professional golfer of all time with his 18th and final major championship at the 1986 Masters. “The Golden Bear” produced a phenomenal comeback to win the tournament at the age of 46:

7) Woods entered the 2008 US Open considerably short of match practice and was plagued by an ailing left knee. Despite this, he went on to win the tournament securing his third career grand slam. Victory at Torrey Pines confirmed him as one of our era’s greatest:
