Both Laura Trott and Jason Kenny can add to Great Britain’s medal haul on day 11 at the Rio Olympic Games as they go for gold in the omnium and keirin respectfully, having already tasted success at the Games inside the velodrome.

Trott was part of the women’s team pursuit that won gold in a world record time last week, while Kenny has already won the individual sprint and team sprint and a win in the keirin would clinch his sixth gold medal to match his former teammate and Team GB legend Sir Chris Hoy.

They’ll be joined by sprinter Becky James and Katy Marchant as the pair compete in the individual sprints, while there is further success already guaranteed.

Sailor Giles Scott is guaranteed gold in the men’s Finn class after building an insurmountable lead ahead of today’s final race, while gold-medal winner Jack Laugher competes in the men’s 3m springboard semi-final with the final at 22:00 BST.

Finally, defending Olympic women’s flyweight champion Nicola Adams gets her campaign underway to win a second consecutive gold medal, as she fights in the quarter-finals at 15:00 BST.
