Fireworks in Japan after host nation's Rugby World Cup win over Ireland

Hosts Japan return to action this morning as they take on Samoa in their Pool A clash.

The Brave Blossoms will be looking to maintain their winning record after sensationally beating Ireland last weekend, having opened their campaign with a victory over a Russia.

Japan are targeting a first Rugby World Cup quarter-final after falling in the group stage four years ago, despite winning three matches.

Beating Samoa would put them in a strong position to reach the last eight ahead of their final pool game against Scotland on 13 October.

As for their opponents, Samoa head into this fixture on the back of their 34-0 hammering by Scotland on Monday and have had a tough four-day turnaround to take into account.

How can I live stream it?

You can live stream the match via the ITV Hub on your smartphone, laptop or tablet. ITV1 will also be broadcasting the clash.

What time does it start?

Japan vs Samoa kicks off at 7.30pm Japan Standard Time, which is 11.30am BST, on Saturday 5 October.
