UFC Fight Night: Card, start time and more for Cannonier vs Gastelum

Jared Cannonier and Kelvin Gastelum will look to earn a shot at the UFC middleweight title when they meet in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas tonight.

Cannonier (13-5) is ranked third in the division but is coming off a defeat to Robert Whittaker in October on the undercard of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s victory over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

The 37-year-old secured victories over Jack Hermansson, Anderson Silva and David Branch in his previous three fights and is considered the favourite ahead of the meeting of the two American fighters.

Gastelum (17-7) is 1-4 over his last five fights, which includes a title defeat to Israel Adesanya at UFC 236 in April 2019. The 29-year-old last fight was also against Whittaker following a unanimous decision loss in April.

When is it?

UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday 21 August in Las Vegas.

The early prelims begin at 12:00am BST on Sunday morning in the UK, before the main card gets underway at 3am BST.

How can I watch it?
