Martin Lewis has explained what workers can expect to see in their April pay packet after the spring Budget.

The Money Saving Expert founder appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday (7 March) to discuss the outcome of the chancellor’s budget.

Mr Lewis said: “What people will see in their pay packets come April is relatively they pay less national insurance.

“The way taxes have gone up is that incomes have gone up but tax thresholds have frozen, so you pay relatively more of your income in tax because of that, but you don’t see it in your pay packet,”
