Would you gobble it for the taste? Or keep it frozen as a portion of British history? Followers of the horsemeat scandal now have the chance to make that decision in their own kitchen as listings have appeared on auction-site eBay offering "limited edition" Findus lasagne - for the sum of £70.

In the latest development of a scandal that's galloped around Europe British food standards agency the FSA has promised a "relentless" investigation of how British horses ended up in burgers and kebabs around the country.

But Findus's lasagnes ("up to 100 per cent horse") are where the story began - so how much do you consider an appropriate price?
