YOUR article "Unhealthy facts behind healthy snacks" (Real Life, 3 September) was misleading. Much as I would like readers to abandon health bars and chomp away on Mars bars, as a scientist in the health industry, I must point out that the calorific/fat content quoted was not per bar for the chocolate but per 100g for the health bars. When comparing the Mars Bar (430cal) to the Frusli bar, the latter contains a mere 133cal and not 398 as quoted. Was this an example of excessive chocolate intake impairing reading ability?
