Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn show contrasting emotions at weigh-ins

Chris Eubank Jr won a thrilling fight with Conor Benn on Saturday night, outpointing his bitter rival 116-112 on all three scorecards in London.

At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, two-and-a-half years after they were first due to fight, Eubank Jr finished a see-saw contest in fine form to seal victory over Benn, handing the younger boxer his first professional loss.

There had been drama at the start – with Benn’s two adverse drug-test results thwarting their planned clash in 2022 – and there was drama at the end, as Eubank Sr arrived at the venue with his son, despite criticising the match-up for years.

Thirty-two years after Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn, Conor’s father, rounded out their own rivalry with a draw, Jr did what his dad did in 1990: beat a Benn.

Re-live the action and follow the fallout from Eubank Jr vs Benn and the undercard fights, below.

Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton kicks off undercard

Round four

After a decent start, this is trending poorly for CBS right now. He’s backed up to the ropes, and Glanton finds the chin repeatedly.

There are some “ooohh”s in the crowd, as fans of the Briton begin to fear for him, perhaps...

If CBS is going to win this, he’s going to have to do it the hard way. Then again, when has he done it the easy way?

He at least stems the tide somewhat as the round progresses.

Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton kicks off undercard

Round one

Here we go! There’s a touch of gloves, ensured by the referee. Both boxers stand orthodox, and Glanton presses forward early.

Lots of close-range fighting, with both men digging to the body. Now a clinch as CBS gets himself off the ropes. Strong uppercut and a pair of left hooks from the Briton.

Fast pace already. CBS gets criticism for taking a lot of punches, but he’s landing frequently so far.

CBS is timing his left hook well, but he does glance up at the clock after a clinch on the ropes – one minute to go. Is he feeling the effects of some decent body work by Glanton?

Now the American with a pair of hooks, one off each wing. CBS comes back with a one-two.

They cannot sustain this pace, or it’ll get sloppy (and even more entertaining).

Nigel Benn gives verdict on son's defeat

"I thought he did really well and he learnt a lot from this,” Nigel Benn said. “He was working too much on the ropes, but that is taking nothing away from Chris - it was his night.

"We can handle defeat gracefully and now we go back to the drawing board."
