Eibar hammer hapless Real Madrid
Relive all the action from the La Liga fixture at Ipurua
Santiago Solari's first game as Real Madrid's full-time coach was one to forget.
After leading Madrid to four straight victories as interim manager, Solari saw his team lose 3-0 at Eibar in the Spanish league on Saturday.
The loss — Madrid's first-ever defeat against the Basque Country club — halted the team's recovery from a series of poor results under former coach Julen Lopetegui, who was fired.
Madrid is sixth in the standings after 13 games. It could have moved one point behind leader Barcelona ahead of its rival's match at Atletico Madrid later Saturday.

Player to watch…
Karim Benzema: The Frenchman has enjoyed a mini-rebirth since the departure of Julen Lopetegui. The 30-year-old has scored four goals in his last four appearances, including a double against Viktoria Plzen in the most recent round of Champions League fixtures. The service to the forward seems to have improved and he will be confident of adding to this season’s tally of five goals.

Prediction...
Eibar 0-4 Real Madrid: Los Merengues will have too much for the minnows, you'd think. No upset here.
Eibar 3-0 Real Madrid
86': Bale runs in behind and has the chance to get in on goal but Riesgo comes out well and it's flicked behind for a corner.
Eibar 3-0 Real Madrid
87': A standing ovation for goalscorer Kike who has been brilliant up front for Eibar today as he makes way for De Blasis.
Eibar 3-0 Real Madrid
89': Vinicius cuts in off the left but he scuffs his shot and it dribbles wide of the near-post.
Eibar 3-0 Real Madrid
90': Bale scoops a long-range effort over the bar by a country mile. Goodnight Vienna.
FT: Eibar 3-0 Real Madrid
The curtain comes down on an utterly woeful performance by Real Madrid as they're thrashed by 13th-placed Eibar. A first-half strike from Escalante giving the home side the lead before Enrich and Kike added to the scoreline in the second-half.
So after a serene start under Santiago Solari, the true extent of Madrid's suffering rears its ugly head again under the new manager, whose team looked even worse today than under Julen Lopetegui.
