The 2022/23 FA Cup third round draw is complete with 64 teams learning their fate with the matches set to be played during the first full weekend of 2023.

Manchester City meet Chelsea in the biggest tie of the round, while holders Liverpool welcome fellow Premier League side Wolves.

But the non-league sides remain alive and hopeful of a fourth-round berth, including Boreham Wood, who take on Accrington. Wrexham will have hopes and dreams of upsetting Coventry to conjure up another story for Netflix to capture.

While Chesterfield host West Brom, who will need to be on it to avoid another upset. FA Cup specialists Arsenal will travel to Oxford, while Sheffield Wednesday will hope to upset Newcastle at Hillsborough.

“Home draw is always the priority, they always raise their game when you play them,” says John Aldridge.

“Wolves are dangerous, Liverpool have a squad that can go through.

“Boreham Wood vs Accrington is the tie of the round for me. The league is beyond us now, the three cups are all doable.

“It’s always a great cup to win. It was great to do it last year. Let’s hope we can get into the fourth round.”
